HOUSTON FOOD BANK – Donating & Volunteering Dec 30, 2023
Donating and volunteering at Houston Food Bank on Dec 30, 2023 organized by Maitri In Houston was full of action with good participation especially from our children. Our Children planned and executed it from the very beginning by designing the banner to volunteering on site. It was a beautiful day with full of indoor and outdoor activities which you can see from the pictures below. Together with other groups, we packaged over 3000 packaged meals weighted more than 4000 pounds. Thank you all for ending and giving sprit.

HOUSTON FOOD BANK – Donating & Volunteering Dec 21, 2024
Volunteering @Houstonfoodbank is a meaningful and rewarding way to support the community. It was festive day for our community as 50 plus people showed up to volunteer and provided services. What best it could as we are closing the year end with a mood of giving back to the community. Specially our children are awesome with their lively participation. Our purpose of the event is
- To help and support the organization’s mission of alleviating hunger and providing food assistance to individuals and families in need.
- It fosters a sense of community and shared responsibility while enabling the food bank to operate efficiently and serve more people.
- It’s an enriching experience that fosters gratitude and community spirit.
- You’ll meet like-minded individuals who care about giving back.
